Research for an Education for Human and Planetary Consciousness and for a true Human Unity.
This research into a tremendous volume of art and certain modern sciences for the creation of a spiritual education is based on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The specialised sciences which have proved most useful in this new pathway of education are Kirlian photography, microphotography and simple high-energy physics - visual teaching material drawn from the sciences is a highly effective part of this teaching program. Heiner has worked on some imaginative and innovative approaches to dialogue and group communication, which he calls the ‘Art of the Arts’. Drawing on a chaotically wide source of inspiration including the Paris Salon, the idea of the Round Table, and the work of Anthony J. N. Judge, he has developed some simple but radically effective techniques which threaten to reinvent the art of meetings and how we share context:
Time-Credits which entitle speech and which participants can use or give away to empower and invite others to speak.
The use of metaphors, to enable the deliberate exploration of world views, for example: spacial conceptualisation, embodying, merging, and morphing of positions, topics, issues, and perspectives.
Models based on and revealing the architecture of natural thought processes which enable thorough understanding and exploration of inner and outer complexity from the perspective of being part of the picture.
His design of visually accessed embodied conceptual terrains can help to map and discuss "What and where we know" and to take specific positions in an overview or Panorama - be member and part of Nature, instead of being restricted to the position of spectator, as typical for conventional world views. (see also ISSS Conference, The Club of Budapest Global Event No.3). [link]
Heiner has played or tested ‘integral or diagonal thinking’ and the ‘Art of the Arts’ -Communication- with children, women, men, scientists, economists, politicians, and philosophers.

Two years ago Lord Menuhin started the MUS-E project in nine "difficult" schools in the European Union to prove that singing and dancing can enable children to move from prejudice, fear, mistrust, failure, aggression, and violence to trust, confidence, harmony and good academic results.
Agreements with various Ministries of Education and Culture have been already signed with the aim of introducing MUS-E into the General Curriculum.
MUS-E focuses on awakening the senses of touch, sound, taste, listening, hearing, recognition, orientation, and balance. The program proves children need the satisfaction of their senses opportunities for exploration and constant learning. The program goes beyond the scope of formal education to contemplate love, hate, serenity, exhalation, solitude, compassion, aggression, joy in nature, and exuberance. This rich development of the senses precedes ideally any abstract learning of symbols (e.g. alphabet) or structure (e.g. grammar).

This blog will be an ongoing collection of "seeds of change" of "seeds that matter". I have collected since 1991 when I met Robert Jungk and Kjell Dahle and he told me what is going on around "databases of hope" as I was in multi-lingual repositories and felt that information is not only in differnt heads, but also lost in differnt langauges and needs to be connected in order to find the best and the brightest. Bob Jungk connected me with Anthony Judge and Nicolas Albery and so a long trip started to bridge and support positive visions.
Here something about positive Youth: [link] and an editorial in his Posivitve News Views and Youth Leader publications by Eric Schneider about the "origins of spreading good news: http://www.pnyv.org/index.php?id=34&cHash=06b36e5270&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=47&tx_ttnews[backPid]=8 More >
This is Heiner Benking's News Log, a private-public diary presenting events, symposia and happenings in Berlin and elsewhere - my farings, foci, issues and concerns.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS PERSONAL BLOG an ARTISTIC and PERFORMATIVE MEDIA INTERVENTION !
The Log links to my work and interests and presents issues and special concern of maybe a very small group of "concerned, engaged generalist" - a Global Interest Group (GIG). This needs to be seen in contrast to the ubiquitous Specialized Interest Groups (SIGs), the "scientific" approach to organize subject areas and specialization and standardization and harmonization! of means, nomenclatures, and modes of thinking. My favorite stories in the WHOLENESS SEMINAR include:
BELA BANATHY: "GENESIS
OF GENERAL SYSTEMS THEORY" and "IVAN HAVEL: Longing for Unified Knowledge" where a "specialist" runs into the founding session of the early foundations General Systems, mumbling "this is not my field" or where Ivan M. Havel expresses his search for other kinds of knowledge.
As a starter I also recommend to check my MINDPRINT site, where we add the need for HANDPRINTS and MINDPRINTS, as FOOTPRINTS are good to visualize and communicate numbers, densities or consumption per area, but are not sufficient to negotiate and "harmonize" across domains and communicate gains in different cultures, technologies, times,... in short: incompatible but relevant information and our work on dialog, peace, policy-making, and multi-modal, faceted issues and consequences.
What am I? This is a "well-packed" question for which I have not the or a single answer. Some called me an in-betweener, go-getter, facilitator, hub, marvel-hero, trim-tab, bricoleur, bricoleers??? - career designeer, .... Some even "hank" which I disliked or Story which I liked very much !!
I have no single answer as I feel we need to walk the talk and sing and dance Life ! in spectra and fields in multiple embodied spaces.
To nebulous an answer? I am sorry but I do not go for overclaims and oversimplifications, under-complex and over-simplistic approaches with clan-think mindsets about real issues in clear contexts!
